What to Do While Eating
We may have encountered the phrase "I gain weight even if I drink water" many times from people, generally women, who want to watch their weight and health but cannot prevent weight gain. Yes, you can actually gain weight by eating as much as everyone else, or even less. In fact, it is not an abnormal situation for people to eat more than you and to lose weight instead of gaining it. If you see this as a miraculous event, you will remain in this situation and cannot find a solution. This is not a miracle, but a situation based on a few logical reasons. One of these situations is that your metabolism works slowly. If your metabolism works slowly, the rate of burning food slows down, and the weight gain process begins. The only solution for this is exercise, and that too if done correctly. Another situation can arise from the way you eat. If your eating habits are unhealthy, you may gain weight and experience stomach problems. Yes, do not be surprised, there are ways of eating. Just as there are ways of eating, there are of course correct and incorrect ways of eating.
HERE ARE THE CORRECT WAYS TO EAT
• Eat slowly. Eating quickly is as harmful to your digestion as it is to your digestion, and you feel full much later. This is because the human brain can perceive fullness after 20 minutes. Eat slowly and digestively.
• Another important point to consider is to avoid eating while standing. Eating while standing never makes you feel truly full, and we cannot know how much we have eaten. We might have eaten enough, but the food consumed on our feet will not satisfy us, and we will start feeling hungry again soon.
• Enjoy eating. Don't just eat to be full. Taste and smell every food you eat. Chew it in your mouth many times. This way, you will be aware of what you are eating and how much you are eating. You will also adhere to the time factor I mentioned in the first point.
• It may sound very simple, but give up the habit of eating from a shared dish. Take what you will eat, and how much, onto your own plate. You will know exactly how much you are eating. You will avoid taking too much this way.
• Try not to eat alone as much as possible. Small conversations while eating are good. It allows you to breathe. Returning to the first point, it gives you time to perceive the feeling of fullness.
