Sugar Detox
As the harms of sugar to the body are learned, it is being used less. High sugar consumption primarily leads to an increased risk of obesity. You can prevent excessive sugar consumption, which causes many diseases such as heart and vascular diseases, infertility, acne and pimples, and even cancer, with a sugar detox. It is one of the most important steps to take for health, as well as being a type of detox where you can reduce or even completely eliminate sugar consumption.
How to Do a Sugar Detox?
The first rule of doing a sugar detox is, of course, to abandon all foods containing sugar, such as artificial sweeteners and pastries. In the second step, you should quit high-calorie beverages. Stay away from all types of non-natural, packaged drinks like cola and fruit juice. Include a protein-rich food such as eggs, fish, meat, or chicken in your daily meal menu. You can consume unlimited foods that do not contain starch, i.e., foods other than corn and potatoes. For the fats you will use in meals, prefer types such as butter and olive oil. In case your blood sugar drops, you can have nuts like almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts as snacks.
