Why Do University Graduates Remain Unemployed?

The Number of Teachers Awaiting Assignment is Rapidly Increasing

Education reforms have not been sufficient to eliminate the unemployment problem in the country. While university entrance exams offered placement with low scores for everyone, students faced difficulties finding jobs after graduation. Especially the KPSS exams put students under significant pressure, and the halt in public sector recruitments dealt another blow to their dreams.    Teacher appointments, which frequently feature on the country's educational agenda, were once again discussed this week. The number of teachers to be appointed is less than even a quarter of the number of teachers left without a position. University graduates are forced to work in jobs that do not align with their fields of study for minimum wage to make ends meet. It is evident that this situation will not be easily resolved.
